About Nicci
Nicci Walla of Lincoln, NE started the first ever chapter of The Bead People in the spring of 2008. Nicci's passion in life is to create a world where our children--from before birth and on--can be safe, healthy and prosperous. Her bright booth has attracted hundreds of children and parents to come and join the club. (See photo gallery below.)
Nicci and her husband, Nate, have six children plus Nicci is a surro-mom to a little girl in Australia. She owns Kangaroo Care (an infant and toddler school), teaches the Bradley Method of natural childbirth, is a cetified birth Doula, and is working on her degree in Early Childhood. The Bead People are a fun way for her to spread the word about her services and to encourage others to take part in creating and supporting this wonderful world. She says, "I love life and keep busy with my family and activities, my passion is childbirth and babies and anything that promotes wellness from a physical, emotional, mental, and parenting standpoint."
Nicci's bright booth attracts a lot of attention at The Farmer's Market, Jazz in June and many other Lincoln events. And all of Nicci's children have become excellent helpers at their events. They twist wire, make sales, meet and greet and generally have a good time--unless it is too hot. Check out her photo gallery below.
