The Bead People have incorporated! The new Board of Directors include Nicci Walla (Chapter member), Lynn Chadwick (of Washington, D.C., Phyliss Boernke of the Rapid City Restorative Justice Organization, and Milt and Jamie Lee, the originators of The Bead People.
Over the next year, the board will be making plans for expanding The Bead People worldwide with diversity projects, adding new chapters, peace and diversity projects, and planning to do some fundraising to help the Bead People spread. Each person who purchases a Bead Person and the Wind book is automatically a member of The Bead People International, Inc. This membership has only one requirement--that small steps are taken to help grow a kinder world.
